South Cerney
Dating back to 999AD, and nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, this charming village is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. With its picturesque landscapes and quaint architecture, three pubs including The Eliot Arms, a fish & chip shop, a small deli & cafe and a Co-op store, all within walking distance of Berry Farm Barn, South Cerney is the perfect destination for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Enjoy a stroll around the village, taking in the local pubs and cafes, or head out into the surrounding countryside for a refreshing walk or bike ride.
Cirencester
Known as the 'Capital of the Cotswolds', Cirencester is a charming market town with a rich history dating back to Roman times, and in Roman Britain and served as the second-largest city after London. Today, Cirencester is a bustling town with plenty of attractions and activities for visitors. Today, Cirencester town centre boasts a wide range of independent shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as a weekly market where locals and tourists alike can browse for fresh produce, crafts, and souvenirs.

For those interested in history, the Corinium Museum is a must-visit. Here, visitors can learn about the town's Roman past and view artefacts such as mosaics, coins, and pottery.

Cheltenham
Just 25 minutes drive from Berry Farm Barn, Cheltenham is a beautiful town renowned for its stunning architecture, cultural events, and picturesque surroundings. As the home of the famous Cheltenham Festival, the town attracts visitors from all over the world who come to experience the horse racing event - our accomodation makes a perfect base for the excitement.

As well as Cheltenham Races, the town also boast annual Jazz, Literature and Science festivals, making it a real cultural hospot in the UK. Bit of a foodie? Cheltenham is also known for its impressive range of restaurants, cafes, and bars, offering a variety of cuisines to suit all tastes.

The town is also a popular destination for shoppers, with a range of independent boutiques and high-street stores offering everything from fashion to homewares, including a large John Lewis and all the shops of the Regent Arcade. And for those who prefer to explore the great outdoors, Cheltenham boasts some of the most beautiful parks and gardens in the country, including Pittville Park and Imperial Gardens.

From the independent boutiques of Cirencester and Broadway, to the high street shops of Cheltenham (25 mins drive) and Oxford (under an hour away), the Cotswolds offers a unique shopping experience that's perfect for any fashion lover.
Love antiques, gardens and interiors? Unique shopping destinations including Daylesford and Burford Garden Company are both 40 minutes drive from the barn. Additionally, London is just 1hr 15mins on the train from nearby Kemble, perfect for a day trip if you're spending the week with us.
Outdoor Activities
One of the highlights of South Cerney is the stunning Cotswold Water Park, less than 5 minutes from our farm, which offers a range of activities for all ages.
Take a dip in one of the many lakes, try your hand at fishing, or hire a kayak or paddleboard to explore the waterways at your own pace. The park also boasts a range of nature trails and birdwatching opportunities, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. After more of a beach and book kindof afternoon? Cotswold Country Park and Beach offers exactly that.

If you're planning on walking (at least some of) the scenic and famous Cotswold Way, the 102-mile trail that takes you through ancient commons in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, past Neolithic burial barrows, stately homes and historic battle sites, then we are conveniently based to explore this stunning route.

And if you're a National Trust member, our accommodation is the perfect base, with over 40 National Trust properties or gardens within one hour's drive of Berry Farm Barn.
